In-Semester Evaluations

Internal Evaluation

  • The internal evaluation shall have a total weight of 40 marks. The in -semester evaluation shall be based on a student's performance in class presentation, case analysis, individual and group assignment, class tests and others as per the requirement of the course. The internal assessment of the students shall be as per the criteria given below:

    Class Test I (After 30% of course coverage)
    Class Test II (After 60% of course coverage)
    Class Test II/Term Paper (After complete Coverage)
    40% (Average of best two)
    MBA- 16 marks
    Attendance
    95% above - 100% of marks
    90% to 95%-80% of marks
    80% to 90%- 70% of marks

    MBA- 8 marks

    Group Discussion /Class Participation
    Participation- 40% of marks
    Argument- 40% of Marks
    Leading/Convincing- 20% of marks

    Presentation
    Presentation Content- 30% of marks
    Communication- 50% of marks
    Organization of presentation- 20% of marks

  • Students shall require to attend classes, seminars and presentations regularly as required by the course. Students failing to attend 80% of class shall not be allowed to appear in the semester-end examination.

External Evaluation
The semester-end examination shall have a total weight of 60 percent. The office of the Examination Management of Purbanchal University will conduct the semester-end examination. The duration of examination shall be 3 hours for each course. The objective of the Semester End Examinations is to examine the candidate's creativity, comprehension, problem so1ving ability, interpretation, and awareness capabilities.
